The First Annual
Colonial Beach Bike Fest
Thanks to all who attended!
Molly Hatchet Kickin’ @ Bike Fest… “Hell Yea.”
Molly Hatchet and Swamp Da Wamp drew a huge crowd at the First Annual Colonial Beach Bike Fest. Neither Rain nor Sleet or whatever else kept the fans away from this free concert on the Town Hill of Colonial Beach. The view from the stage was just overwhelming to see how many came to this event.
The organizers of this event want to thank everyone who came out to the First Annual Colonial Beach Bike Fest. Collectively, We have over a thousand pictures to go through so stay tuned to this website and our FaceBook page over the next few weeks as we begin posting them.
As one of the photographers for the First Annual Colonial Beach Bike Fest, my first encounter was with a great bunch of folks who wanted their picture taken for the website. I could tell they were having a really good time. I wish I had gotten your names but none the less, we were so glad you came out for the event.
We like to say thanks to the great folks that put many hours in to make this event a reality. So many folks attended the meetings during the year and we don’t have all their names. We have had great participation from the local Police and Sheriff Departments, State Police, Colonial Beach Fire & Rescue, The Town of Colonial Beach all working together to help create a plan for making this event as safe as possible and fun event for all.
Big THANKS goes to Jay Haiden. Jay is one of the unsung heroes to the Bike Fest who put his heart, soul and talent to work designing all of the imagery and graphics for this event. The graphics work on this website was created by Jay. We really do recognize his dedication to this event as he has spent untold hours upon hours designing all of what you see on his own dime. Thank you Jay for giving the First Annual Colonial Beach Bike Fest a face to remember!
